Pros

Great digital manager and exec producers

Cons

Horrible upper management. ND will act like your best friend during the interview and then never give you the time of day after you sign. If something bad happens to you (family death, surgery, etc), don't expect an ounce of understanding if you need time to recover. She won't even ask how you're doing. Her office is full of expired food, paper, and trash. ND plays favorites with most of the anchors but treats news team like animals. All GM cares about is money and it shows. They will lowball you at any chance they get. Set is extremely outdated and run down, looks like it's from 2007.

Pros

-Lower management is great, evening executive producer is a good guy. -Digital director is a good one too, these two got me through hell

Cons

Toxic work environment, name calling, you name it, it's here. ADVICE FOR MANAGEMENT: *Treat employees with respect and LISTEN to their concerns *Don't play mind games with employees *Don't lead with fear...the news director, assistant news director, and general manager all do this. The current news director is the WORST at this. *Stop intimidating employees with psychological fear *Be more organized, the ND's office is a MESS *Be more understanding...your MMJs are TRUE MMJs..you make them drive hours away, grab at least two interviews, take b-roll, and expect us to be live at 4, 5, and 6 p.m. with no break for food. I have felt extremely unsafe on multiple occasions because I've had no photographer or anyone to watch my back. *General manager: start listening to your lower-level employees. There's a reason no one stays at KY3. We love the station, not the management. Not all of us want to move up market, we want better work conditions
