      Great people with some disorganization - Anonymous KRT Marketing Employee Review

      Pros

      People were great. I really enjoyed everyone I worked with and the office culture was really fun and enjoyable. Over my time there it was great to see them grow in numbers, and in offices.

      Cons

      I felt that the direction of the accounts and clients felt disorganized at times. Often feeling like we needed to prove it was worth the money on every single client call, needing leadership to step in, etc. It seemed a lot like every new client was such a big win, then there wasn't really any direction or plan after that. I often felt that while an overwhelming majority of people were kind and wanted to help, others weren't as nice and were more catty - which was a really big bummer because for a company that puts company culture above everything - some more senior members of the team were very rude quite often.

As you noted, we’ve been growing at a rapid pace and, as we expand, we expect to experience some growing pains. While this is normal for any growing company, we try to address these issues as soon as they arise or are brought to our attention. We are sorry you felt at times there was lack of direction or disorganization. At KRT, we work very hard to put processes in place to create a structure where our clients and KRTers will be supported in the best way possible.       Pros

      The leadership team is committed to hiring the best, and promotes success and development within the agency. They take a vested interest in each employee, and the overall atmosphere feels like family. Unlimited PTO, wellness benefits and other perks show that the agency is committed to the people that make it hum. Co-workers are passionate, hard-working, and dedicated to client success at all times. Always pushing forward.

      Cons

      The work can be fast-paced, but for someone that thrives in that environment it can be very rewarding.

      Pros

      I feel very blessed for all of the opportunities that KRT Marketing has given me. From my very first day I’ve felt that I was being positioned for long-term success. I’ve been surrounding by an incredibly talented, hard-working teammates that take their work (and their FUN) seriously. I’ve always had the sense that this company really cares about me, my family, my teammates and our clients. The leadership team is truly that…a group of incredible mentors that takes an active interest in everyone’s life (both personally and professionally). I’ve continually been exposed to trainings, lunch & learns and conference opportunities that have allowed me to get better each and every day. I’ve also had the opportunity to directly impact the advertising programs for HUGE Fortune 500 companies, which is pretty cool. Maybe that’s why no one seems to leave.

      Cons

      As a mid-sized agency tucked into the East Bay, KRT isn’t exactly the fast-paced high-rise I envisioned working at growing up…however the tight-knit environment comes with its own benefits. You also wear a lot of different hats…and while sometimes you have to take on tedious tasks you wished you didn’t have to, everyone pitches in around here to simply get the job done.
