Pros

Remote working, a few good managers, meditation sessions during lunch break, nice location, mostly nice co-workers

Cons

They breached the employment contracts of their employees and basically refused to pay what was clearly stated in the contract. I felt like I was working for scammers, not a reputable company. Shocking experience. The insults and micro aggressions I've experienced here are also mind-blowing. Some managers are shockingly incompetent. When I quit, I overheard a discussion where the manager was congratulating an employee for overachieving his targets and letting him know that he won't get a raise or promotion for at least 1 year. Do yourself a favor and don't even apply.

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
