Pros
A lot of investment into people, great access to training and development, positive environment for working with people from all sorts of backgrounds and with different expertise. The people I worked with were all very competent and driven. Accountability is generally practiced at all levels of management and quality standards are high.
Cons
Bonuses mediocre compared to the amount of time and energy you invest in the job and compared to what you would get elsewhere (perhaps outside of the Big 4 environment). Highly competitive environment which can sometimes be brutal. More and more resourcing issues with expectations to produce same amount and quality of work with fewer and fewer and less qualified junior resources and reducing bonuses.
