It is an echo chamber - Top performers, A players have two choices: integrate into the top layer and pretend and/or try your best to maximize productivity and find yourself frustrated by those who derive value from being blockers and posturing - Some inexperienced and mid tier caliber people who are a bit big fish in a small pond - Many people high up in the company think that they are experts, but in reality have low experience level and derive lessons only from a single toxic environment.
