Pros

- I got some good experience working with their systems when I first started - They have "lunch parties" every now and then - 401K match Besides the free food and kids snacks provided, that's it. No other pros I can think of, besides leaving

Cons

- CEO + upper management are absolutely full of themselves - expect to be talked down to or have a condescending comment thrown your way at some point if you work here - The sales methods, software they use, and "values" they preach are so incredibly outdated and phased out that it makes you wonder if they've ever really stepped outside the office and tried anything even remotely modern - They like to cover up and pass off any system-wide outages, unexpected downtime or patches as "maintenance" - CEO has a power trip with his employees, you have to walk on eggshells here - strong vibes of a office hostage mentality - CEO also excels in micromanaging, likes to keep close tabs on his employees all day, at all times. Just breathing will cost the company money - Like most MSPs, techs are almost always underpaid in comparison to other places and treated like fish in a barrel here - Training is non-existent, instead they make you watch videos that have almost nothing to do with their internal systems or methods and are frankly a waste of time - Growth opportunities? Keep wishing. Everything is stagnant here and unless management plays favorites with you, you're not going anywhere. - Many talented service desk techs and sales account executives over time, have left because of the environment KME Systems fosters to its employees. - Work here if you want to get talked down to, blamed for little problems by passive-aggressive management and also get paid for peanuts. Also expect to share an embarrassing story that no one asked for on your first day. I could go on and on.

Pros

I enjoyed my internship with KME. Matt took me under his wing and showed me a lot about what goes on day-to-day. The environment was very relaxing and the team seemed to mesh well. The team is very knowledgeable and easy to pick their brain. Have a great work/test lab for new/refurb'd equipment. Technology and tools they used seem to be modern at the time. Xbox conference room.

Cons

I hate meetings and it seemed like some of them were necessary but you see that at every company.

Pros

Flexible schedule - parent company who provides trainings and open communication to management

Cons

Disjointed leadership - parent company and KME management don’t align to ensure employees can achieve expectations. Most of time is spent chasing internal colleagues for status or answers to questions. Clients can get ignored due to all internal demands. Integrating 3 outside companies into 1 was a disaster causing unnecessary confusion and turmoil. Disorganized and chaotic. Teams highly dependent on one another and if there’s no accountability for not being helpful it’s not ever going to improve.
