Pros
Great employee culture, good company for a short term stint.
Cons
My efforts were never good enough over 6 years to get ahead in responsibility, pay, title, or security. Peaked in pay/duties around year 2 and never was given better work experience. I'd look for opportunities to move up, but was always met with "someone else does that" or "we need to to do this now" or "we are hiring someone else for that.". If you aren't in the "inside track" you are a disposable asset and will absolutely not be promoted. The company hires new employees rather than than promoting. Company is structured to wring you dry like a wash rag, and keep wringing until you are literally rung out. They advertise the ESOP as a benefit, but you need 6 years to be fully vested and the system is structured to prevent you from working that long. I worked 6 or 7 days per week, often over 80 hours at straight time. Very demanding work environment, I sacrificed 6 years of my youth to be thrown away like garbage. I found out now years afterward that my total compensation was also well below market and using my personal vehicle while living in the expensive oil patch cut that even deeper. Almost all of the people that I genuinely respected on a profesional level do not work there anymore.
