Image processing work is rare in NY, but you'll be spending most of your time on wild goose chases under the direction of non-technical/unqualified managers instead of developing your skills.
Cons
I was the last of employee to be fired in the purge mentioned by the previous review. I had worked here for almost 6 years with stellar performance reviews and metrics. My last year at the company I, along with other 100k+ employees, suddenly received dismal reviews- all bogus. Not only were we fired, our reputations were marred . Recent graduates or H1B visa employees replaced us. My replacement quit after only 4 months. This is not an environment for professionals, the atmosphere is more like that of a coal mine, not an engineering firm. P.S. This company rescinded a job offer to a pregnant woman because she was pregnant. Search "EEOC Sued KLD Labs". Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
