Pros

If there's one thing I can say about Juwai, it's the people there. My teammates are more than just my co-workers – they're almost like family, and I probably talk to them more than my own siblings. Yes, we do bicker over the small stuff but we always pull through as a team, and I know I can count on them to have my back in times of need.

Cons

Juwai is expanding fast across different countries, and that's great but I think we need to promote more interactions between country teams to build and maintain a closer bond across borders.

Thank you for your review. You will be happy to know that your colleagues are working right now on more activities for team bonding and tools for team communication. Thanks for reminding us how important they are. In the meantime, we will get right to work on that nap pod. We may need to do a few official, ahem, tests to be sure it’s effective before sharing with the whole team. :)

Pros

this company is a beg scam

Cons

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the services I have received after listing my property on your platform. Before making my purchase, I was contacted multiple times every day by your sales team, who were very eager to help me get started. However, since I finalized the listing, I have not been able to reach anyone for support. More concerning is that despite having my property listed for a significant period, I have not received a single lead or inquiry from the site. This lack of support and results is extremely disappointing. The contrast between the aggressive sales efforts before my purchase and the total lack of engagement afterward is both frustrating and concerning.

Pros

They genuinely want to succeed. They are very focused on delivering a positive search experience for the Chinese consumer searching for international real estate. They provided a warm welcome and have an open company wide channel in WeChat for communication.

Cons

Not enough opportunity to generate money through commission because you will not get many sales. It's very low volume and very hard to close deals. I've consistently been a top performer doing sales for many large US companies and it was nearly impossible to get sales at Juwai. Most of the revenue comes from existing business or inbound leads that go to sales staff in China. Whatever you get for base salary, you shouldn't expect much more than that. No real understanding from the Executive team of how to do business in North America or how to set expectations for Sales people. They don't seem to understand sales in general here so I'm thinking sales might be handled completely differently in China. The entire sales team struggled and the CRO and CEO didn't seem to try and figure out why the products don't sell or why the current strategy didn't work. They have too many products and the products are expensive for what they deliver which is why it's such a struggle bringing in new business. None of the prospects I was working with were able to justify the cost of the product. In addition, we could not answer most of the typical questions about the expected results of advertising campaigns. I was unable to answer most questions about how the products are expected to perform. Juwai has a large total audience searching on the website, but many products they are trying to sell appear on individual channels. It's challenging to sell because it's unknown to salespeople what percent of overall traffic searches in each channel. They're asking customers to pay very high rates without being able to give them data or analytics to make it possible to make the buying decision on such a big investment. I was brought in for a short time with no metrics other than revenue. I was never given any indication of how I was doing, then I was terminated out of the blue without any warning or coaching. In most companies, if a salesperson is not hitting quota or is struggling to reach goal then it is customary to give a warning or some type of 30 day period to improve. I felt lost there after my first week. Juwai management was very cold and lacked empathy in how they handled my employment and termination.
