Pros
The people at Jonview were really nice and the company has a lot of fun events and perks (ie: FAM trips, holiday cheers, summer parties, flight deals, etc.). The social aspect of working there was great - everyone is quite nice and friendly.
Cons
Unfortunately, the pay is super low compared to the industry. People are overworked and not compensated nearly enough. The computer system they use is archaic and IT never fixes anything in a timely fashion (I'm talking years). They definitely need to get with the times (ie: they still use Excel is used for shared docs. You need to get onboard with Google docs so more than one user can edit the doc at one time!). There is not much room for advancement. A lot of the managers are fairly young and have been working there for years so definitely not going anywhere anytime soon. There is not a lot of teamwork between departments (ie: Sales vs Product, Reservations vs Product, actually Product seems to be the reoccurring problem between all departments). As the times change, I could see the FIT business not being as profitable and eventually dying out (that's one of the reasons I left). I think Jonview has a great run in it's 30+ years but times are changing and more people are booking travel themselves and using better and easier sources (ie: Expedia, Booking.com, etc.).
