Pros

Good stepping stone for career advancement. If you are in a particular group or clique you can get away with most things. ei coming back from lunch an hour late, leaving work early, getting promoted without properly earning it. You dont have to adhere to daily schedule if you are in clique with supervisor

Cons

Hard to progress to higher level unless sheltered by supervisor or in cliques with in support department. When applying to another department managers drag their feet to keep you in support as they always need people and have a high turn over rate. There is no confidence in HR as they always side with management rather than hear the needs or concerns of the employees. Unrealistic goals as support is not available when you need it and they tell you to ask for help.

Pros

It is a larger shell of companies, so the benefits are better than most I have had and still remain cost effective for a single person. My position and company within Jonas is fully remote, My coworkers are the highlight of my day.

Cons

The companies are super focused on using AI, but then they are so locked down in some of the minor companies that it's not worth it. Because there are so many companies that make up Jonas as a whole, there is always massive communication errors or lack of information from the top down. By time we get the first message from our managers, there are whole new sets of instructions. Pay increases are never scaled from your performance and barely cover any of the cost of living changes. You may get a bonus but that depends on a number that corporate calculates.
