Pros

Salary structure isn't bad. Bonuses are similar to what you can see any MNC paying. Leave policies add good. Insurance facilities are good.

Cons

There's a lot of micromanagement. Tech stacks are ancient(for people who'll work on their IT products under the OpenBlue banner) There's little to no transparency. OpenBlue is a standalone organisation within Johnson Controls that too a loss making one. The FD departments might be good, but just don't join their IT products. No job security. HR people are vile, rude , arrogant and don't give a flying F to people who're lower down in the totem pole. Your requests, mails and messages will go unheard for as long as you don't go and try talking your concerns out with the HR. For Pune folks(Commerzone)-the food sucks. The tech stack being old means there's little to no hope for you to get help from sources like StackE. If you're one of their developers, you will always be underutilised which isn't a bad thing per say but you won't get to learn anything. Mosg of their development work is outsourced so you will be left to either test things out or out help in language translation. They'll try to buy you in by saying that "migration is in the pipeline" but believe me, I've been here for an year and not one of their products has been migrated. They have less than 10 clients overall for their IT products. If this is your last resort, I won't recommend you to NOT take the offer. But don't stop looking for better opportunities. The pay might be good but the growth is very very veryyy slow.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
