Knew they didn't care about people but this surprised even me - Account Representative Johnson Controls Employee Review

Pros

Company with a long-standing presence and good products

Cons

People are just a number, not a name; they don't care about employees and the HR teams are the worst of them. Recently, they send out a letter to many employees offering them "voluntary separation" in order to downsize/cut costs in their offices-with the threat that if enough didn't volunteer, involuntary separations might occur

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
