Pros

It's a job, some good techs that i work with. We get paid weekly.

Cons

Cheapest company around. No Christmas bonus, no party. Takes forever to get needed tools. They get us death trap Ford escapes to drive. If you break down good luck with Element actually helping. Techs is responsible for way to.much. From quoting all work, to ordering and tracking jobs and parts. Our applications and programs don't work. IT most famous saying is not my job and call someone else. No real HR at the branch, have a timecard issue? Send an email and they will send it to someone in India who will then transfer it to someone else 2 weeks later they will try to call you at 4 am. Not enough time to complete all the paperwork, ordering etc. They want you to do company training and administrative task while billing a customer. Almost everyone in the office is angry and overwhelmed.

Pros

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
