Pros

It is a small company right now so it is easy to work on multiple things.

Cons

There are many critical points here that make AxleHire a company to avoid at all costs. - The CEO and CTO have lied and made false promises to multiple employees on a consistent basis. They both lack integrity in this regard and should not be trusted. - The CTO specifically has an extreme lack of empathy and has a toxic verbally abusive relationship with many coworkers. - The leadership speak in a demeaning way about drivers, especially ethnically foreign drivers. - The leadership work the least. On average <6 hours/day and contribute very little. This is especially true of the CTO, who has written SIGNIFICANTLY less code than any other engineer, and is just incompetent in contributing production level code. - The pay and benefits are below the market average. - Extra hours of work is excepted, but never rewarded or even valued appropriately. Overall, many of the social issues stem from the CTO being socially inept. Also, when employees dissent with the leadership's decisions to lie and cheat they are "let go".

Pros

* Speed and Price: Jitsu's main selling point is its ability to offer same-day and next-day delivery at costs comparable to slower, ground-shipping rates. * Advanced Tracking: The company provides a modern, real-time tracking platform, offering end-to-end transparency for both the shipper and the end customer. * High-Volume Capacity: The service is built to handle high-volume shippers, making it an attractive partner for large e-commerce brands and subscription boxes. * Low Package Loss (Officially): Jitsu claims a very low package loss rate (0.02%), suggesting their system, when it works, is efficient at tracking inventory.

Cons

Severe Delivery Inconsistency: This is Jitsu's biggest problem. A significant number of customer complaints describe packages being marked as "delivered" but never arriving. Mishandled Packages: There are widespread reports of drivers leaving packages in unsecured or bizarre locations, such as on public sidewalks, in faraway parking lots, or thrown on a porch, seemingly to avoid being seen on doorbell cameras. Poor Driver Accountability: As the service relies on independent gig-economy drivers, the quality of service varies drastically. Many complaints point to drivers who fail to follow simple delivery instructions or who appear to "fake" delivery attempts. Ineffective Customer Support: While Jitsu claims to offer 24/7 support, many customers report having difficulty getting a clear resolution for lost packages. Responses are often slow, dismissive, or unable to provide real help beyond confirming the (often incorrect) "delivered" status.
