Pros

Looks decent on your CV for an entry level sales position. The BDR position itself can be mind numbing, boring work, but it's not very hard. Overall the sales team seems to make the most of the situation and I have no ill will towards any of them.

Cons

Company culture and wage is extremely outdated. You work 9-6 5 days a week including Friday's with no flex hours. Friday's aren't very productive after 2 or 3 but you still have to sit there until 6. Wage is also below industry average, current pay is not worth the pro's of this company when compared to other BDR opportunities. They will tell you everyone hit's quota and gets paid commission every single month, this is a lie. Have had maybe 3 or 4 company wide events/happy hours in the year + that I was there.

Pros

I started out as an marketing and sales intern at Jinfonet Software in 2014. I quickly got to know everyone in the company, and to appreciate the family-feel of the company. It is great when you can find a company that seems to actually care about you and where you want your career to go, especially as I was only an intern. After graduating, I moved to Maryland and worked full-time as a Marketing Coordinator, and then as a Marketing Manager. In total, I was at Jinfonet for about a year and a half. I ended up leaving the company because I missed my hometown - Seattle. I would definitely recommend working for Jinfonet. As far as I could tell, they make you feel like you are a part of the family and every person's role is important. It is important to note you could walk a few feet and talk to the CEO or VP of Sales, whose doors were always open. I also believe they have a truly good product, which is necessary for the foundation of a software company, and many analysts have written so.

Cons

I like to collaborate with a larger team and learn from others, and the marketing team at Jinfonet was rather small, only three people including me. In addition, there were not as many young people. Some salespeople were in their late 20s or early 30s, but the majority of employees were older than that.
