Pros
Good perks -- Free lunch, snacks, "unlimited" vacation (has to get approved by manager), nice location (DC office is much better than NY). Still a relatively small company, but quickly becoming large and bureaucratic, doesn't exactly have a startup feel anymore.
Cons
- As previous recent reviewers have mentioned, this is a quickly sinking ship. It's honestly not clear whether or not the company will be around in a year's time -- the market for the product(s) is just not there, big deals are few and far between and expenses are high. Way too diverse of a product portfolio for a company at this stage, doesn't have the engineering or the sales capabilities to support it all. - The lack of transparency shown by the executive team was astounding -- there are biweekly town hall meetings, at which the entire company pats itself on the back and talks about all of these success stories, MEANWHILE, there have been two large company wide layoffs within the last 6 months without any warning. In fact, the CEO said specifically there would be no layoffs a week before there were dozens of them. A little transparency & accountability goes a long way. - Culture has gone down the tubes (utter absence of company events, socials, etc), morale is low and the work is dull. Not exactly an exciting company to be part of.
