Cons
Leadership frequently dismisses employee concerns rather than addressing root causes. Transparency is extremely limited, especially around company performance, funding, compensation decisions, and strategic direction. Employees who question decisions or raise concerns risk being marginalized or placed under public scrutiny, creating a culture where people are afraid to speak honestly. We've been told that HR is not consistently involved in decisions that significantly impact employees. Compensation and leveling decisions have lacked consistency and transparency, leaving many employees questioning fairness. Equity administration has been delayed for almost a year for many employees despite commitments made during hiring. Some employees have left and still didnt get a chance to exercise their equity. Frequent leadership changes, shifting priorities, and unclear direction create unnecessary chaos and make execution difficult. Management often values loyalty over expertise, resulting in avoidable turnover of high-performing employees. Morale continues to decline as talented employees leave while underlying leadership issues remain unresolved. People who advocate for culture improvements, report workplace concerns, or openly disagree with leadership often appear to face retaliation, including being placed on administrative leave or exiting the company. The leadership team lacks alignment, transparency, and trust internally, making it difficult to establish a consistent direction for the rest of the organization. The company permits arrangements where some leaders appear to simultaneously serve as full time workers while also receiving compensation through businesses they own to perform work for the company, creating conflicts of interest and inconsistent accountability. The company lacks experienced HR leadership, and employee relations are handled by an individual who says they arent experienced and does not consistently demonstrate the professionalism for sensitive workplace matters and we are referred to go to C-suite for information.
