Supportive culture with growth opportunities but communication gaps - Administrative James Imaging Systems Employee Review

The company really cares for is employees.

Its not a negative, but they are growing fast.

Working at James Imaging Systems has been one of the best experiences I have had, and I still enjoy coming into work each and every day. The owners, Tom and Lola Tegeder are wonderful to work for and enjoy giving back to the community through the United Way and Lola does support several Veterans causes, which is heartwarming to me. One of my most memorable experiences was back in 2020 when schools were virtual and we were an essential business and had to be in the office. The owners took it upon themselves to move their inventory out of one showroom, move in tables so the admin staff could bring in their elementary age children for virtual learning with a tutor hired by the company. Tom would then pick up lunch from Culver's and bring it back for the kid's lunch. That was a time in history like no other, and feeling the genuine care and support for the families of the company made such a lasting impression on me and I will forever be grateful. I'm very appreciative to be a part of James Imaging Systems and how Lola insists on personal touches such as having a live person answer each call and fresh flowers in the front lobby. We are a growing company with several locations, and I enjoy the company culture where they are including everyone in recognizing sales and administrative staff in their accomplishments. My coworkers are wonderful and we all get along well! I can't say enough good things!
