1. Compensation for designers is below the current market rate compared to similar roles. 2. Communication and decision-making from management could be more transparent, particularly around organizational changes and career progression. 3. Designers don't always receive the same level of visibility, recognition, or influence as engineering and product teams, despite contributing significantly to the product. 4. Appraisal cycles have been significantly delayed. Appraisals that were expected in January have still not been completed after six months, with little to no formal communication from HR or senior management regarding the delay or revised timelines.
