Management wants everything yesterday and will demand overtime including weekends to meet unrealistic deadlines. No time to develop a good design. Management only cares about getting the product to the floor. They have no vision for improvement in any aspect. It's a family and family friend (nepotism) run business that has their pockets lined and is happy with the status quo. Low pay and terrible benefits, not limited to: a single week of PTO accrued throughout your first year with no additional sick days. Very high deductible health insurance with no shared expense for family members. You have to keep track of your own PTO because they will try and tell you that you don't have the time to take off (aka fraud)
