Pros

- The clients represent an interesting industry with lots of challenging assignments. - There were some individuals (mainly the younger associates) who were dedicated to producing quality work, and who were willing to endure the toxic atmosphere for the sake of delivering quality.

Cons

See "Advice" below. This is a toxic organization, run by individuals who are so arrogant and egotistical that they cannot bear to have their opinions challenged. Based on this leadership style, the layer below management has learned to display loyalty at all times to leadership, even at the expense of good work or quality talent. Going a layer down to the VP level, there are mediocre talents who purge good people to protect their precarious standing.

Pros

JPA Health genuinely encourages creativity and empowers team members to find new and better ways of doing things. The environment is supportive of innovation and inspired problem-solving. The culture is deeply compassionate—having personally faced serious health issues, I felt truly cared for and supported in a way I can't imagine experiencing anywhere else. Leadership and colleagues consistently demonstrate empathy and understanding. The agency values collaboration, communication, and personal growth, making it a rewarding place to build your career.

Cons

The current volatility in the business market, including a drop in federal government health work and broader industry changes, has increased anxiety among staff. However, this challenge is not unique to JPA Health and is being felt across the sector.

Pros

I enjoyed my time at JPA. The people are genuinely bright and collaborative, and there’s a strong culture of people wanting to do good work together. The agency also works with well known life sciences and pharma clients, so the work stays interesting and often feels meaningful. I especially appreciate JPAs openness to new ideas and investing in newer areas like AI and innovation instead of doing things the same old ways

Cons

Because JPA is growing and evolving, there can be some uncertainty at times around priorities and processes. Communication between teams can occasionally be inconsistent. That said, most people are willing to help and figure things out together
