Pros

Offices are very stylish and beautiful; salaries are competitive; HR benefit package competitive but generous; National firm; neutrals are wonderful-top drawer so- to- speak. Could be a dream job.

Cons

Management sucks! Business managers are generally lazy; JAMS is a "youth" oriented organization. Not many employees over 50 years old. Too much is expected of the Case managers. Management very clique-ish with "mean girl" attitude; Working at JAMS is a nightmare packaged in a dream. Too bad.

Pros

The exposure to highly confidential legal work, direct interaction with judges, and the opportunity to develop strong personal organizational and communication/documentation skills made this a very valuable experience. I built meaningful professional relationships and gained insight into the legal field that I will continue to utilize moving forward in my career. * Exposure to highly respected judges and legal professionals * Strong learning environment for those interested in law * Opportunity to build professional relationships * Development of personal organizational, communication, and client-facing skills

Cons

The office environment was at times challenging due to inconsistent management structure, unclear role boundaries, and uneven distribution of responsibilities. There were periods where expectations expanded without corresponding support, recognition or compensation, which made the role difficult to sustain long-term. Management communication and operational clarity could be improved to better support staff and promote retention. * Inconsistent management and communication * Role ambiguity and shifting responsibilities * Limited recognition or advancement opportunities in some roles * Uneven application of remote/hybrid work policies across offices * Workload can become unbalanced without proper support
