Pros

They give you a book of business and it's your job to cultivate and build relationships. Easy for proactive people to make a decent amount of money with a top performers trip. Easy for reactive people to kick back and service people trying to cross-sell. Solid 401k, Employee stock plan, car discounts, hotel discounts, wellness plan, and etc. Depending on your manager, they are always willing to work with you on personal time and vacation workarounds.

Cons

-Health benefits are pedestrian -Moving up in the company takes forever. (unless right time and place) -Pay is weak. Top bankers salaries are maxed at $65k base. (Citigold starts at around $80k)

Pros

The team was supportive and willing to answer questions. I gained practical experience in industry research, financial analysis, Excel, and data organization while working on real projects. Managers provided helpful feedback, and the internship was a good opportunity to understand how research and analytical work is completed in a professional environment.

Cons

Some assignments could become repetitive, especially data cleaning, database updates, and reviewing large amounts of information. Deadlines could also be tight during busy periods. Because the internship was relatively short, interns sometimes had limited ownership over longer-term projects.
