Pros

It honestly used to be pretty great. Peers are fantastic, a great sense of being in a team and helping each other out. Management is very supportive of process change and improvements. Has been there for 6+ years and never met an evil soul

Cons

It has gone so much downhill for the past couple of years. Can be very messy due to high turnover rate and the training gets sloppy. Due to its great name they don't really care about retaining people since there will be others just around the corner to take the job. But often they hire expensive people who were great at interviews but not so great on the job. pay raise and promotion is very difficult these days. They prefer to hire externally and not growing people from within. The quality of people has gone so much downhill due to this. Most probably you'll end up working IB hours and pay is similar to a shipping company. The company has gone so messy inside it pushed me to look externally because I honestly could not take the mess anymore.

Pros

Great coworkers. Benefits were great.

Cons

Stingy pay, overdone and ineffective management. Terrible handling of neurodiversity. Company less interested in local talent despite Dimon’s obsession Wyatt in office work. There is a gradual devaluation of a wide swaths of roles including junior bankers to leverage depressed economies abroad to line shareholder pockets.
