Insane workload, low pay for faculty, hostility toward academic rigor. Incompetence and mediocrity are rewarded; excellence is penalized. Intense pressure to pass every student in every class, whether they are capable of doing college work or not. A failed academic model based on spurious research that serves only to enrich top management. It does not serve the students it gives a lot of lip service to serving; the students themselves have universally protested against this model. Funded by a Republican statehouse that has zero respect for quality public education.
