Company needs a greater sense of urgency to move promising investigational medicines through development and to patients as quickly as possible. There is a lot of focus on doing great science but not enough focus on getting medicines to patients asap.

Extremely smart scientists and leaders, many many veterans that have spent their entire careers there.

Upward mobility is weirdly dependent on your current title. Some title jumps are easier than others, and some promotions require intense review from other departments so be sure not to ruffle feathers. Management has their favorites.
