Pros
- Company is very transparent (as much as a public company can be) regarding overall performance, financials, achievements, and areas for improvement. - Cross-departmental collaboration is very good with a feeling that everyone is willing to help if they can and is "rowing in the same direction". - Sales mgmt invests a lot of time with skills/knowledge improvement, which isn't everybody's cup of tea, but if you want a mentor or to progress your career you can definitely find many willing partners at IC at both the peer and mgmt level. - Despite the remote nature of the org since COVID, there's still a feeling of "team" and comradery where people genuinely enjoy each other's company, even if it's over zoom most of the time. - Starting to see internal promotions become a regular occurrence (SDR to ISR, ISR to AE, rep to mgmt, etc..), which is great!
Cons
- Sometimes the operational side of the job can be a bit heavy (contracts, pricing approvals, tracking data in SFDC, etc.), but it is enterprise software and the deals are complex, so not sure there's a better way to do some of these things.
