Pros
The employees at store-level are great. The customers coming in are really cool and it's a fun job. Relaxed uniform (denim jeans - no holes, invicta t shirt and sneakers), it's an expensive watch store so you really get to just hang out about 50% of the time, unless its a holiday time such as mother/fathers day, valentines day or christmas.
Cons
Micromicromicro managing. Anything you do has to be approved with area manager, cannot merchandise freely, cannot do special orders for customers who request items that they would buy from us. Not to mention, ONLINE RETAILERS ARE KILLING OUR PRICES!!!! We recently had a price INCREASE when people were already coming in every day saying they found the same watch we sell at 75% off our price...we can't beat that and there's no incentives to buying in store. The whole "in store exclusive" nonsense is just old. All those models have since been moved to being sold online....it's just stressful when the company can't take ideas or constructive criticism from people at store level who are actually working with the product and ideas and know how things work.
