Pros

Good pay and excellent benefits. The recent changes has ruined my morale.

Cons

This position used to offer an amazing work life balance. But now they use a software to spy on their remote employees. You are pretty much tied to your computer through the entirety of your shift. They have software that measures your keystrokes takes pictures of your screen and knows exactly how much time you're spending on everything. This is called a select-time position but they are being really strict about the time you select and how much time you spend doing your tasks. I don't feel free in this job anymore, I'm always self-conscious about how long it's taking me to do things and worrying every time I take a restroom break or a snack break. When they implemented this new program we learned that our managers had been spying on us for 6 months collecting data on our work habits and then finally told us. It has ruined my morale. I used to work fast and finish early so that I could enjoy my free time but now that I'm being watched, I work slow and waste lots of time trying to prove to the cameras that I'm staying busy.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
