Pros
- Gave you real world assignments
- Supervisors were very understanding when it came to class schedules and revolving work around exams.
- Intern supervisors were all very nice and willing to help you if you ask for it.
- You leave internship with a lot of things you can add to your portfolio
Cons
- Internships are unpaid.
- Company culture is not super collaborative, mostly everyone stays in their offices and the interns are kept in the common area. Often times they act like you aren't there
- When you send a final version of something you never really see what happens after you hand it in or find out whether or not it's actually being used
- Would have been nice to learn and get tips from employees other than your supervisor or work with other interns
