Pros

- Most of the colleagues were very kind - I liked the benefits and company events as well - Interesting projects

Cons

- Overtime regulary with limited appreciation - I couldn't get along with my manager (people got fired or they quit after a few months in this position). The manager is not employed there anymore, so it must be totally different now. - In some cases we had to follow processes that were too manual and could have been improved

Pros

There are no positive things to say about this company or their people. Run

Cons

The CEO is so dishonest it is hard to believe they are still in business. They don't honor their contracts with their employees and worse yet do not value their customers. They take maintenance dollars and do not provide the feature set that they are obligated to provide.

Intland Software Response

Hello, many thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience working with Intland. We have a large customer base which keeps growing and we grow together with them. We are working on empowering middle management and give them more opportunities to shape the present and future of Intland. Our company culture is very startup-like, we need people who can take initiative and walk the path that is less beaten which is not always suitable for everyone. We strive to adapt to the needs of our clients and as they use our tool for innovation, sometimes it is hard for them to plan, too, we need to be as agile as possible and work in synergy with them. This can result in changing priorities and high demands, but it is also highly rewarding to achieve success at Intland as we are not small cogwheels but have a large impact with everything we do.

Pros

Based on my personal experience, those who are willing to put in the effort to gain the confidence of management will be empowered and encouraged to bring in new ideas, implement change and improve the way the company does business. I have had the chance to carry out my own initiatives and ideas, try out new strategies, tools, etc. If you are willing to put in the work (and accept that it is up to you to get management's trust) you will have a meaningful role in the organization and make a real impact on business. Something you couldn't do at a large multinational company.

Cons

There is no trust from senior management by default, it has to be earned. If you come from an American style - we hired you because you are an expert, do whatever you want from day one - culture, you will find that you clash with the leadership team regularly on very operational things. You must keep in mind that this is a family owned company, which had 20 employees for most of it's life. The owners built this from the ground up. It is their baby. They will expect you to prove you can be trusted with their baby before they give you control. If you feel this sounds daunting or tiresome, this may not be the place for you.
