Pros

Taking a chance on interVal was the best decision I have made career wise. Moving into a different field of work is never easy but the transition although challenging from a personal perspective, has felt nothing but smooth professionally. The company culture is great and we have collaboration and communication across all teams. Leadership is open and honest with us and is always available to listen to ideas and concerns, they truly value input from all employees. Work/life balance is extremely important to all of us and they understand that employees have personal commitments outside of work and encourage us to prioritize our well-being. I feel like I have the resources and support I need to do my job to the best of my ability, and I am constantly learning and growing as a result. I am proud to work for such a forward-thinking and innovative company, and I am excited to see what the future holds. Overall, I would highly recommend working at interVal to anyone looking for a positively challenging and rewarding career.

Cons

I have nothing negative to share.

Pros

- People at all levels really make an effort to communicate and be transparent. While it's not always appropriate to share EVERYTHING that goes on, there's a conscious effort to share when possible so everyone feels in the loop - Work where you want approach -- remote, in-person, or hybrid -- is genuinely accepted. While it can be tough to connect people in a hybrid type of company, they do encourage people making connections and developing relationships just like you would organically if you were in person - Fast paced startup lifestyle means you're always busy, always taking on new challenges, and being pushed outside of your comfort zone

Cons

- Start up world isn't for everyone - and we've had our fair share of growth pains and learnings along the way. It's not always easy, but interVal keeps looking for ways to be better

Pros

1. Nice people. 2. Flexible work schedules. 3. Fun environment.

Cons

1. Management is non-existent. (Very focused on business.) 2. Unknowledgable people. (Little to no project management/developing experience) 3. Can't explain concepts very well. While working at Interval (Formerly Eksit) I was "promised" a raise which I was denied - I was also told there is room for growth into a team lead position which ended up not happening. In the end, I was used mostly to facilitate their server migration and set up their git repos within their Azure cloud, I was then fired shortly after. Be wary of this company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. EKSiT’s transformation from a services firm to a technology company has not been without its learnings. We have significantly shifted our focus to a product-led company, timed with our rebrand to interVal. We have recently hired for those key management roles you suggested, as we realized it was critical to bring in experts in specific areas of product and technology to support our growing team and the development of our products. Your feedback is helpful, as we are always striving to improve from where we were in our lifecycle at that point in time. Our evolution as a company continues, and we know that we will have many opportunities to learn and grow. We wish you the best of luck in the next stage of your career and appreciate your feedback.
