Pros
The team is full of experience and amazing individuals.
Cons
For the Schaumburg location: No support or direction from management, and actively toxic managers are not corrected. The project manager has bullied, harassed, and threatened people to the point of tears. The service manager doesn't understand their duties and asks others to do their work. And the engineering director makes poor decisions, asks the team to work harder to compensate, and blames their team when things go wrong instead of taking ownership. HR brushes this under the rug and doesn't correct the toxicity. The mentality of extreme ownership is preached but not practiced by management. Employees are expected to put work before personal life, skip vacations (which don't roll over) if needed for work, and tolerate a lack of promises being held by management. There is a cultural/ethnic clique that is given preference, which is part of why the project manager has maintained their position despite their unprofessional behavior. If you are a good worker, then expect additional responsibility to come your way without additional pay to compensate for poor performance from senior management.
