I can speak only to the video production dept. The producers in the media dept are underpaid, and the quality of the productions are student-like, but the producers have little power to change that and are chastised if they try. Producers were treated poorly on a daily basis, often with inappropriate and passive aggressive comments. Nepotism was at play to hire someone totally unqualified, who also made more money than the rest of the staff. It was an uncomfortable and creatively-stifling work environment where all of us are embarrassed by the finished products. There are interpersonal reasons for management to be allowed to continue in this manner, which is upsetting and just bad business.
Additionally, at the time I was there, HR was one unqualified person off-site who handled my problem very poorly. I was apologized to, but the damage was done.
I left the company on my own, along with at least 2 other coworkers in my position, as soon as I (we) could find other work.
