Pros

Pay was competitive, just not worth the stress.

Cons

Some great people in the branch, but ultimately those with pull have some serious issues. Corporate backs up decisions by high producers that are highly questionable. I was pregnant & starving cause there was a medical issue we couldn't figure out. While completely bed ridden for just a week since I had to be on IV nutrition to survive and in the midst of a very difficult almost abuse & divorce situation, I was let go "for business, not personal reasons". I was too weak to stand up for myself and it's like they knew that. Still interesting to me that they decided to more closely scrutinize my work right about when they found out I was pregnant. But they brought me on in the midst of a very heavy work load and promised to train me once things slowed down, but instead decided my work wasn't good enough. I was completely upfront about my skill level when hired and told them that some things I need more time to learn but I learn them more thoroughly and once I have the skill mastered I actual excel impressively. They never gave me a solid chance, but used my life circumstances against me. Turns out they pulled awful stuff on the previous assistant, who was actually even better at her job than I was. They fired her for her wanting to advance as she should have been encouraged and supported to do. After having met her and seen her skill level, I'm convinced if they'd kept her on the team she'd have trained me so well from the get go that everything would have been so much better for the entire team. Both the previous LOA and myself could have benefited greatly from being able to work from home at least some, but were told that's not at all an option. But the LOA hired to replace me didn't even live in the state, so of course got to work from home. It's like no one has stopped to realize the head processor creates so much unnecessary drama. Not sure if it's to compensate for something. She's smart, but lazy. She won't do the amount of work she pretends she will unless there's no way for her to dump it on someone else. The obsession with and insistence on covid testing, even after things dissipated quite a bit, was absurd. The tests caused me issues. Being a human at this job and ever getting sick is extra stressful-- at least for certain positions.

Pros

Nice offices. Good support if you are a LO. High performance LOs are considered VIPs. A couple of lawyers run the place to keep it legal.

Cons

A small group of executives control everything. No health insurance. No VPs or directors except for a few. You are nobody in the company unless you are one of the few executives, a branch manager, or high performing LO.
