Pros

Their sales pitch is excellent.

Cons

They are unwilling to allow individuals to advance beyond what they would like to do, putting the company's needs above the employees career. They feel threatened if this is brought up, will lie if necessary (I have proof in email/text) and have a CEO claiming 100% disability from the Veteran's Association and is still able to run a company. They're very fond of the at-will clause.

Pros

Supportive leadership and mentorship: Managers and teammates take time to guide and answer questions. Valuable SkillBridge opportunity: The internship is structured to provide hands on training relevant to civilian careers. Collaborative team environment: You’re treated like part of the team, not just “an intern.” Exposure to real world projects: Work ties directly to the intelligence and cybersecurity mission. Smooth military to civilian transition: Company understands the challenges of transitioning service members. Professional growth opportunities: Encouraged to take initiative and build technical and professional skills. Positive work culture: Respectful, mission-driven, and inclusive environment.

Cons

I only had 4 months to learn and contribute, but I was able to learn so much in those short 4 months.

Pros

The people went out of their way to create a great environment. This internship is an excellent opportunity to create your own learning experience and focus on what is most important to you. There was plenty of time to study for certifications such as CompTIA, focus on learning or advancing in python, and work on projects with others in the company. They invited SkillBridge interns to join the company on fun competitions in machine learning to get an introduction to AI and gave us access to RF devices to practice hands on skills. I would definitely recommend this company to others exiting the military.

Cons

There was less structure during my iteration of the program, making it important to have discipline and goals, but it gave a large portion of time to focus on self-study.
