Pros
Salary will be on time
Cons
No salary If you are at Bench,(Well its not your business to get work Orders, but Still) It's really hard to get your travel Claims If you are traveling to any Site for testing, You need to spend money from your pocket and you need to wait for 45 to 90 days to get the money back. (Forget the money if it's over 90 days) No real exposure to any new technology. Training programs requested from the Client side, Its just to take a photo for the records. You have to start your travel at 6.00 AM to reach the site by 11.00 Am and you are not allowed to pack your bags soon, because they consider your working hours only from 11.00 Am. Reaching back to your room and starting your next day., It's a long story. (Poor management of Resources). Micro-management at all levels. Field engineers will be the scape Goat for Managers and Co-ordinators. Coordinators will allocate sites to you by 12.00, Tough you have to be in the general vicinity, you have to finish 3-5 sites by end of the day. They don't care about Cab drivers/Riggers making issues with Engineers in the Field. No annual review, incentives, bonuses. You have to work from early morning till late at night in the streets. Forget the breakfast, Lunch will be at 3.00 pm( sometimes not) and for Dinner, No shops will be available. You will be working in the remote places of the state/District you are assigned to. No support for Accommodation from the Employer. You have to stay in any place on a daily rental basis. Because managers can ask you to relocate on a moments notice. Imagine a room you just paid 150 per day and don't expect it to be neat and tidy. Engineering Colleges, Please don't have IWS for campus recruitment. You are doing worse to the students in the name of good. Freshers Stay away from IWS. It's not worth for our Degree. You will be using a software(TEMS/NEMO) for the whole day and its just like using MS-Word
