Pros

Loved the people they were sweet and very polite. They were helpfull and trained me with patience. My coworkers all had amazing personalities.

Cons

I was working under a nurse and she up and decided to quit using integrated dx for drug screens and blood tests. I was laid off and told they would have another office open in two weeks. Never happened! Then I applied for another position got the phone interview, was told I would get a call either way. Got told there was no news on the position. Honestly the people are great just management when faced with a issue without warning not so great.

Pros

The job seemed amazing at first but over time it got worse and worse. Most people there are nice but leadership can be impersonal and unfriendly. The hours were good and the pay was decent for the work you do.

Cons

When their company gained more clientele, their volume increased which meant more work for me to do. I was by myself processing samples and manually entering in various types of orders as well as packing and shipping supplies to clients, contacting clinics for missing info or troubleshooting issues, scanning in mounds and mounds of paperwork (months of pileup at one point) and was basically the safety officer checking the eyewash and shower stations as well as the fire extinguishers. Also had to send out samples to be delivered. A lot of the work had to be done very accurately or else you would risk impacting a persons ability to get medicine or custody rights or you could violate HIPPA. I was overworked and was there for almost two years with no raise despite having all kinds of extra workload given to me. When I expressed how I was feeling overwhelmed and asked for help with the extra volume and worried about being able to process everything accurately and in time, their leaders responded by having me log every minute of my day every day because “the first question the higher ups ask is why” so when I inevitably missed on logging some things I did, I was confronted about it as if I was lying about what I do during the day and just slacking off. I was treated like the bottom of the barrel there towards the end and I got hired thinking I would be able to move up into lab work but they lead me on and acted like they didn’t know I was interested in moving up within the company. They posted for a lab position without telling me and when I interviewed for it, I never got any word back about it despite asking for a follow up multiple times over months. Someone in the toxicology department was made my supervisor and that person did not even know how to fully do all that I did since the role had grown so much since I started. This person also made multiple mistakes processing samples but would shrug it off, but when I would make much smaller mistakes they would confront me about it rudely and accusatorially. Leadership never follows up with you about anything you ask either. My questions about the interview, asking for a raise, and asking for more help were all met with silence, save for some arbitrary logging of my day which told me that they did not believe I was actually being over worked.
