Pros
Working with with the demographic I adore and gives a sense of purpose. Managing nurses with not only great skillset but kind hearts that take quality care of such a fragile population. Great regional support from top of of the line Allen Flores Consultants.
Cons
Just like every other private pay LTC facility it's all about move ins. Corporate doesn't care about acuity, charges an arm and a leg for "quality care" while the line staff drown. The ridiculous Zoom Meetings that consume time we don't have (unless your regional what did they do before covid and Zoom?). Instead of bullying management and barking orders it's time for Corporate to get their hands dirty and help their communities. I've been in the industry long enough to know and accept this is nationwide.
