Pros
-Smart and fun people to work with -Flexible with wfh -Free lunch and many snacks -Great office facilities and management -Unlimited PTO (although no one really takes as much time off as they probably should)
Cons
I preface this by saying that not all teams are the same and your experience at IAS is contingent upon your manager and teammates. That being said, teams are incredibly siloed with little to no effort put into systematizing better communication streams. For example, changes are made on Salesforce without teams being notified which throws the entire system off. This is a serious waste of time because instead of being able to focus on improving processes, we're instead focusing on putting out fires every day...not to mention that this hurts client relationships. Employees aren't shown appreciation and are made to feel like they are unable to do their job when instead it is up to managers to provide support. Mistakes are magnified with absolutely no help offered. People with no experience in how to manage people are promoted to managerial positions and often times lack any sense of empathy and can be downright cruel and cold. How do you expect people to feel comfortable and supported when asking for help when 1. you're contributing to a hostile work environment and 2. there are no pathways to resources? Work life balance is garbage. IAS values a culture of workaholism and burnout and, instead of providing more support and resources, expects its already overworked employees to basically figure it out on their own. Your workers are drowning. Listen to them. p.s. There's some weird biases towards POC, specifically WOC.
