Pros

Family comes first, constant professional development, ample opportunities for education (at work and in night classes in the community), equitable distribution of work, engaged management, specialized market demographic, cross-training, great cooperation. Also excellent medical, dental, vision and 2-to-1 401(k) matching on the first 6%. Annual incentive bonus. Bi-annual performance reviews.

Cons

Small organization - no room to advance unless there is turnover or retirement. Some times the work culture is "keep doing your work and we'll take care of you" which is true, but doesn't inspire me.

Pros

Positive work environment, promotes from within the Organization, helps local schools and communities.

Cons

There is no official new hire training. Ongoing training and education is necessary for current team members as well.

Pros

-Unheard of 401k plan--if you contribute 6%, they contribute up to 12%. -Great health insurance coverage through Kaiser Permanente. -Tuition reimbursement after 1 year up to 7500 annually or 30k total. -There's been a lot of tumult and change in the organization over the last 2 years since they left South Lake Union in Seattle and moved headquarters to Tukwila. It appears there are a lot of people that are incredibly unproductive that are being asked to leave and it's bringing in a lot of new, interesting, and competitive people. -Only financial institution I've worked at closed on weekends. -Sales and operation teams have generous compensation compared to other credit unions.

Cons

-A streak of "we do it this way because we've always done it this way" attitude. -Not a good place to work if you aren't okay with flexibility and ambiguity. -A tad disorganized, but with clearly good intentions and goals on how to become a more streamlined organization.
