Pros
Insightly has been one of the best companies I have ever worked for a few reasons. 1. The people - This is really what has kept me at Insightly so long. Our CEO Anthony is one of the most approachable and engaged CEO’s I have ever worked with. Insightly is his baby and he truly cares about every aspect of the business. The type of people we hire here are diverse in the way they think which warrants a constant flow of new ideas. Everyone is super collaborative both within their individual teams but also cross collaboratively within different parts of the organization (something we’ve worked really hard at). The people that work here are genuinely curious, work hard, and are kind to one another. This is not something I have found at a lot of other organizations I have worked for. 2. Product - Our product has a real place in the largest software space in the world, so there is a ton of opportunity for sales reps to come in here and crush it. The engineering team is iterating on the products we have (CRM, Marketing, Voice, App Connect) in weekly sprints and is constantly adding new products to our tech stack to help us achieve a true unified platform for our customers. We’ve added two new products in the last year and a half and plan to add two more in the coming quarters. There is no lack of things to sell here if you’re ambitious. 3. Growth Opportunities - We have Career Development Ladders built to create a very clear and defined path for promotion for SDR’s and AE’s and Managers. There’s no guessing here which makes it nice, you always know where you stand. 4. Culture - The culture team tries really hard to keep the amazing culture we had pre-pandemic now when we were all in the office. We do slack challenges, Learn A Latte’s (coffee dates with folks from other parts of the org), multiple slack channels for wellness, interesting things etc. They have done a good job keeping people engaged with a remote workforce. 5. Remote Work - The company has gone completely remote indefinitely. This is great because it allows us to now hire all over the world and it really lends it’s self to a great work life balance. We still have the office in SF for people to use if they’d like but you can work from home if that meets your lifestyle/location better. We have also recently rolled out a work from home ergonomic stipend which has been super helpful so I can have a standing desk at home! 6. Open to Feedback - There have been some recent changes in the sales side of the organization. A lot of this was due to feedback from the sales reps themselves. The company takes employee feedback seriously and is also open to hearing on where they need to improve. The HR Department is a huge part of this as well in continuing to facilitate collaboration across departments on how to make this a better place to work for everyone. When they receive feedback - they act on it. From HR to middle management to executives to C level. This is really rare in an organization and is something Insightly has started to do and will continue to do. It’s a good sign for the future of the company.
Cons
We are in growth mode so things change very quickly around here. If you're someone who is resistant to change this might not be the right place for you. At the end of the day we are still a start up which means we are figuring things out and sometimes run into challenges (hence some other reviews on here). Insightly is a people and culture first organization and we really do care about our employees. No 401k matching
