Pros

The people who work here were nice and professional towards me.

Cons

I applied for the position of "Marketing Assistant". I have a B.A. in Journalism. Every other job I have applied for was in the realm of graphic design or photography, so this one was a bit of a stretch, but the job ad made it sound like I would have the opportunity to utilize my creativity by creating promotional and advertising materials. I was contacted by phone about a week after applying by an HR representative. I missed the phone call, so I called back, left a message, and also sent an email. No one called me back after 24 hours. So the next day I called back about every hour, on the hour, and still no one picked up. After all these attempts at contacting this company, I pretty much dismissed them as unprofessional and resumed my job search. About three weeks later, I got a call from them. They talked about being "unable to reach me earlier in the month", with no mention of all of my ignored messages and phone calls, and asked to schedule an interview. It was a different woman than the first time. At this point I was leery of them, but thought hey why not, let's get some interview practice. I knew within 5 minutes of the interview that this job was not for me. It is NOT A MARKETING POSITION. It is NOT ADVERTISING OR PR. Have you ever been approached by someone in a Wal-Mart trying to sell you makeup? Ever been harassed at a gas station by someone trying to sell you a car wash? Ever had someone try to sell you hair products you have never heard of before in Costco? That is what this company was trying to get me to do. It's a bogus marketing company with unprofessional sales tactics. As someone with four years of training in graphic arts and photography, I was insulted. If you have spent time and money on higher education and want a real, rewarding career, LOOK ELSEWHERE. They are clearly desperate for employees, based on the numerous advertisements for what seems to be every position in the company. Before even applying, it's obvious this isn't a good sign.

Pros

Paid training, structured training, great people, good opportunity for growth. Honestly an all around great company. Love the owner, I get tons of support and communication from her. And that's everything I wanted in a firm!

Cons

There are some new trainers that you can get trained by...and you can tell they're a bit newer, so I like when I'm paired with the veteran ones.

Pros

People are friendly most of the time.

Cons

I worked at Innovision dynamics for 2 weeks and I've gotta say, it was pretty bad. When I took the job they had promised they would open up a dayton office in a few weeks. So until then i had to drive to Cincinnati every morning for that amount of time. The job wasnt what I thought it was. They called it "event coordinator" in the ad online so I was under the impression that it would be actual events that I'd be attending, trying to sell product. When they explained what the job really was I was skeptical but I took it as I was desperate for money at the time. I spent the first week studying like I was back in school trying to learn these systems that they required. I worked 8 hours a day for 6 days a week and when I had that day off I had to go into the office to the morning meeting and make bundles of the product. I'm sure this could be a good job for someone not going to college. But if you have the opprotunity, go to college and get a degree. That way you're not in a meijer all day trying to sell people on products they dont need. Or even join the military. Just dont take this job. You'll feel severely underpaid for how much work you're doing.
