Pros

Wonderful working environment. They are flexible, supportive and put family and safety first when working here. I can honestly say I have never worked at more supportive place than there. Competitive wage and great befits.

I can honestly say there have been no cons to working here.

Pros

People that come to work there are committed and dedicated to the various missions of the organization.

Cons

1. Poor senior leadership that micromanages to the extreme. 2. Micromanagement results in disengaged employees. 3. Disengaged employees result in high turnover 4. For several years the organization (due to poor financial health) did not pay overtime for required trainings or cover their cost. 5. The high turnover rate (over 50% at all levels) resulted in a stream of new people that have to learn on the job resulting in marginal overall service delivery. 6. Highest ranking people in the organizaton are well compensated (overly so) while there is not any compensation plan in place to reward and motivate the people that do the work and provide the service. 7. CEO (Launda Carroll) was know for her temper and verbal abuse of mid and upper management, often publicly. She was the living embodiment of the "Peter Principle." 8. A non-compete agreement for every employee from child care worker to Vice President. Ridiculous. 9. Lousy benefits, marginal health insurance that you must pay 25% of the premium for. 10. Most employees are hired into part time positions so health insurance is not available to them. 11. The organization is incongruent in that the words and actions of upper leadership are not alligned.
