Pros

Well-regarded for their political work for conservative candidates/groups and regional businesses. Fair compensation (salary).

Cons

There was a definite environment of bias/preference for certain employees when I worked there. Some people seemed to do no wrong as long as they stayed in the good graces of the person in charge of everything. Everybody else was treated like they were just part of the scenery. Two or three people were royalty and given opportunities and access nobody else could get. If you were not one of those people, you're an interchangeable tool. I have heard from people that you see this at small companies sometimes, but this really blew those stories out of the water.

Pros

They have some really large accounts on both the corporate and political side of things that are good resume builders.

Cons

I was really excited to be part of this company for the type of accounts they serve, but was really discouraged to see upper management using an extremely negative tone with the employees including the use of the "F" word in regard to employees' work. Most employees stay around because the company offers competitive pay and benefits, and for those who live on the Northshore, it's nice to be saved from that commute to New Orleans. After moving on and working for another agency that upholds a positive company culture, I tell all of my colleagues who work in PR or marketing to steer clear of this agency.
