Pros

I only and I mean only positive thing is that a semi-trained cimian could perform this job

Cons

None/zero management. Current manager works appropriately 3 hours a week in the office. No idea where they are beyond that. The previous one was missing in action for at least 6 months. Purportedly still getting paid. No training no opportunity for advancement. Schedule is given out a day before it begins and changes on a whim. Usually 2-3 X's a week. Office is a respiratory emergency. Smells like urine and hasn't been cleaned in over 5 years. Hardware is inoperable systems are archaic and malfunction daily.

Pros

The work hours and helping veterans.

Cons

They treat their employees like children and also lie to them. The lead in release of Information in Reno, NV is a tattle tell. She would call the president of the company if we left 2 minutes early. We were forced to clock in and out as salaried employees. I asked about the attendance point system with snow and ice and delays because this company is based in Alabama and they do not experience the same weather we do. I was told there was no attendance point policy but yet we had to sign it in the handbook. ? Make it make sense. I was threatened numerous times to be moved from salaried to hourly which would if been illegal because my contract was as salaried. I was told I was abusing the time off because I called out sick 1 day because I had a fever and body aches and wanted to use a sick day to cover it and then use a personal day off for the day after Thanksgiving so I could spend more time with family who traveled to us for the holiday. The president of the company and the company itself is very hostile. The work environment was hostile and felt like we had to walk on egg shells. We were nothing more than a number to them. So glad I'm not there anymore. They claimed they were all about communication but when I communicated I was told I'm communicating too much. The day I called out, my lead kept emailing me after the fact which is illegal. I don't understand why they brought in someone who had zero knowledge and experience with medical records in instead of promoting from within. There was a team member who knew it all who should have gotten that role. If I could of given 0 stars I would have. This is the worst contract I've ever worked on. They also couldn't provide proof of supposed counseling I didn't recieve from management on site either. They were looking to get rid of someone who saw through their lies and bs. They did me a favor because I love where I am at now. The benefits at IAW were ridiculously high too, not affordable. So I say to those thinking of working for this company, dont. Save yourself the headache and avoid them. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. They have dismantled a great team that worked so well together.
