Pros

Positive in-office environment and perks Good PTO policy Encouraging managers that take time to listen to you

Cons

-Unsustainable workload and pace led to constant stress and burnout, leaving little time or space to produce high-quality work -Benefits were blatantly misrepresented during the interview process (e.g., “every other Friday off” was very much not a true day off, and number of in-office days were higher than stated right from the get go) -Minimal onboarding and support; assigned high-level projects immediately with unrealistic demands and expectations -Constant shifting priorities, excessive deadlines, and little consideration of existing workload made it extremely difficult to focus on any one task at a time. -Heavy reliance on Slack created a highly distracting work environment with pressure to constantly signal activity and respond to an excessive number of messages. -Lack of visibility into team workloads due to poor structure and management oversight. -Expectations to be available outside normal working hours. -Unclear promotion process and inconsistent internal communication. -In-office requirements felt unnecessary and inefficient given the nature of the work. -Limited opportunities for meaningful team connection; culture on all teams felt transactional, robotic, and impersonal. -Very few genuine connections and normal convos with people across teams. A little bit of respect and basic human connection would have gone a long way.
