Pros

I requested to work in many departments so I would be a more useful employee. I worked for Ingles for 6 years. I started out as a cashier & worked to a customer service manager. I did get pay raises, but didn't get paid what a manager should get.

Cons

The down side is pay scale. Also the customers can be rude & mean. As a CSM you have to manage employees(teens) who just don't care.

Pros

-Rotating Weekends (Work Sat/Off Sun then Off Sat/Work Sun) -Flexible Scheduling

Cons

-You are expected to do a lot of work for very little pay -Being promoted is extremely unlikely and any wage increases is purely for inflation, not because they think you deserve it. -If you do not fight for higher wages they will not give it (I knew someone who has worked full-time in the deli for years longer than I, but somehow he made less than me) - Deli Management is very clique like, the assistant store manager has many complaints filed against him. -Expected to work holidays, no holiday pay or overtime (ever)
