Pros
I worked as a junior on the design team for just under three years, and during that time I had the privilege of being managed by Emma. As a lacking in confidence junior designer, having a manager who genuinely supports your growth makes all the difference, and Emma did exactly that. She consistently created an environment where learning was encouraged, questions were welcomed, and new ideas were valued. Her ability to combine clear direction with creative freedom helped me grow faster than I ever expected. Emma’s leadership, communication style, and empathy are a rare mix and she is exceptional at her job! She cared about my development as a designer and as a professional. I had opportunities to learn via UCLA courses that were instigated solely by her. Any team would be lucky to have someone like Emma as their leader. She set the foundation for my career, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support and confidence she gave me. Highly recommend working with Emma if you have the opportunity.
